Limited Liability and Rental Conduct

 

Check Out 11 AM – Check In 2 PM

 

Six People Max. / Cottage : 2 Cars Max. / Cottage : NO TENT’s ALLOWED

 

1)      Use of premises, facilities and cottages are at own risk! Beachview Cottages and Robert or Nancy Lozon will not assume responsibility or liability for tenants, guest and other people while at Beachview Cottages for any reason.

2)      Patrons are responsible and liable for damages or injuries caused either to person, property or structures/cottages either directly or by guest while at Beachview Cottages.

3)      No assumption or minimum expectations or services are rendered or provided to renters of guest.

4)      Children or guest are to be supervised at all times for adherence to these rules and liabilities.

5)      No candles or open flames are allowed in cottages due to potential fire risk. Portable and rechargeable lights have been supplied in cottages in the event of power failure. Contact proprietor at main house if equipment fails or if extended power outage or adverse weather conditions.

6)      The local fire Chief states that Camp Fires are only for cooking food over only. He will not tolerate nor will Beachview Cottages any fires that are excessive in size and could lead to immediate expulsion from premise with no refunds! We do not supply WOOD for fires, it normally can be obtained in village at very reasonable rates.

7)      The stairs leading to the beach from the hill do not belong to Beachview Cottages they are private property and owner has stated if used by anyone, it is again at your own risk with no liability or responsibility to the owner or Beachview Cottages. Please watch Children on them!!!

8)      Pets are not normally allowed, but in the event that permission is granted in isolated cases there is a leash law in effect and proper care or supervision is demanded by Municipality of Bayham.

 (Steep fines have been put in effect this year!!!)

9)      Beachview Cottages (Lozon’s) expect patrons to minimally care for property and cottages as if they are your own. Damage to furniture and appliances are YOUR responsibility. Normal wear and tear is expected; please notify us of any conditions so it can be addressed immediately.

10)   You and your guest are expected to maintain noise to a minimum as consideration to fellow renters and close proximity to local residences. We do have police that are on Patrol here constantly! Again excess could lead to expulsion with no refunds!

11)   Cell phones can be a problem here and there is a pay phone across from Post Office. If any emergency arises we will be more than happy to assist from our personal residence.

 

 

These rules and notifications are not excessive but are needed to convey the message for clarity of obligations with no misunderstandings! We will not rent to people who do not accept these terms!
